Pencil in hand
We start to write
Each day is a new one
To write another chapter
In the book
Of life
Mistakes happen
But don’t matter
Once the day is over
For the next day is a new one
To start fresh
On a new page
In the book
Of life
Memories are forever
We turn back the hands
To our past
And think of the
Unforgettable
And write down
Everything we remember
In the book
Of life
Every story has characters
We choose who to put in
And take out
Who is a hero
And a villain
In our stories
In the book
Of life
Write what you want
What you feel
Everyday teaches us lessons
And helps us find things
About ourselves
That we have never known
All in the book
Of life
